Castiglioni’s research continues, in collaboration with the technical department of Alessi, over the possibility to shape metallic sheets: the prototype comes from from a brass flat sheet, 1mm thick, bending it twice with two different types of finishing – polished or silver plated brass. The heart-shaped object has been sold colored as well, and in a single box-case containing two napkin holders (for the couple)
