1977 Production: Ideal Standard.

The Linda series of sanitary fittings (basin, bidet and toilet) was designed for prefabricated wall systems as to meet the economic requirements of the European legislation.

The basin, wider than deeper, was designed to adapt itself to places with limited space. The toilet instead has the flush output placed higher than the ground level, enabling prefabricated connections.

This project, answering to exact request of the company, comes indeed considered far too economic, which was exacty what Achille Castiglioni wanted: “a series with reduced dimension but with an essential form, intended to a wider public.”
