Castiglioni constructs simple metallic joints to realize a convertible multifunctional object.

The steel structure is connected to the base and composed by five beech levels. Hinges connect in the 3rd level the two parts, so that the levels are able to change the alinement: in this way it switches its function from bookshelf (height 132cm)  to desk (length 151cm)
