A long, dark and mysterious passage leads into a great hall, flooded with light. Six rows of seven pillars made from laminated wood support the tiered ceiling, lowered in the middle, forming a stepped pyramid truncated and set upside down; at the center of the squared hall (30mx30m), an island acts as the information and documentation center. The overall effect is a modern telestèrion, pagan temple surrounded by figures in procession: the 4 walls, 150sqm each (brightly lit along the perimeter), are in fact entirely covered with a display of products and their illustrations. The products are arranged in the lower stripe, up to a height of 2m, so that they can be studied and tested, while the superior area presents incisive schematic graphics illustrating their function, with figures in poses and social role of the various users of the BTicino products, a sort of “chorus” that visually comments the action and interaction between workers and visitors on the stand. Outside the exhibition hall, the 1200sqm of the pavilion contain a café, general services, offices and conference rooms.
